Celery with Peanut Butter

                Blend together, 1 cup milk, 1 ripe banana and 1 Tablespoon creamy peanut butter.


  • Clean and cut celery stocks into 4-6” sections.
  • Fill with peanut butter
  • Top with raisins, chocolate chips or shredded carrots, if desired.


  • Spread peanut butter on any kind of cracker, including graham crackers.
  • Top with raisins, chocolate chips,  shredded carrots, or other treats if desired.


  • Mix together in a bowl;  one cup Grape Nuts,  ¼ cup low fat dry milk,  ¼ cup peanut butter, ¼ cup apple juice, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. cinnamon. 
  • If dry, add more apple juice. 
  • Let your children help you shape the mixture into small balls.
  • These balls are ok to eat as is; or even better to refrigerate overnight.

OREO-PEANUT BUTTER BITES                              
(taken from Kraft website)

1 – 16.3 oz jar of Planters Creamy Peanut Butter
2 ½ cups powdered sugar
15 OREO Cookies (smashed) about l ½ cups.
1 ¼  package of Baker’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate (10 squares)

  • Place peanut butter in medium bowl. 
  • Gradually stir in sugar until well blended.
  • Stir in cookie pieces. (Let your children help smash up the cookies by placing 2-3 cookies in a plastic zip-lock bag for each child and then letting them take turns rolling a rolling pin over the cookies or breaking them up with a small hammer.)
  •  Let your children help you roll the mixture into small balls and place them on cookie sheets lined with waxed paper.  (Sprinkle hands with powdered sugar to help you roll the balls.)
  • Freeze for 1 hour.
  • Meanwhile, melt chocolate as directed on package.
  • Stick a tooth pick in each frozen ball and dip them halfway in the chocolate .
  • Return balls to refrigerator to set the chocolate.  (Keep refrigerated until time to eat.)

PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES                               (Taken from Kraft website)

You will need
                1 egg
                1 cup Planters Creamy Peanut Butter
                1 cup sugar
                1 tsp. vanilla
                ½ cup chopped peanuts (Optional)
To Make

  • Heat oven to 350*
  • Beat egg in large bowl with mixer until foamy.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Let your child help you form the dough into small 1” balls.
  • Place the balls on a cookie sheet, 2” apart.
  • Let your children help you make a crisscross pattern on the top of each with the tines of a large fork.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cool for one minute, then remove to cooling racks or plates.
